The project

SHOPLOCK: AI-based cybersecurity for e-commerce

The goal of the SHOPLOCK project is to develop an AI-assisted, real-time cybersecurity system optimised specifically for the needs of e-commerce platforms.

The resulting digital product delivers, in a single integrated platform:

  • DDoS protection and a web application firewall (WAF)
  • bot traffic analysis
  • an AI-based fraud detection module
  • transaction-level anomaly detection

The system connects to webshop engines via direct API integration, providing real-time, adaptive protection at the level of customer transactions and behaviour patterns. Our goal is a product that is a breakthrough both technologically and commercially in protecting small and mid-sized e-commerce players.

The long-term goal is marketplace integration (e.g. Shopify App Store, WooCommerce Extension Marketplace) so the service can be deployed quickly in international environments too.
