The renewed website of the town of Pécel, pecel.hu, is live. We have been running the town's IT operations for years; now its online presence has been rebuilt as well. Our team designed and developed the website, and we also operate it after the handover.
Residents' matters, one click away
A town website works when residents instantly find what they came for. The new homepage therefore puts the most common matters first: issue reporting (potholes, street lighting, waste), customer service information, downloadable forms, official notices, local decrees and the public catering menu.
News, notices and the event calendar now live in one place, the town magazine can be read online or downloaded, and the important phone numbers can be dialled straight from the homepage. Residents can also subscribe to the town's newsletter.
Modern foundations, built to last
The clean interface, opening with a video hero, is comfortable to use on phones too, and the town hall staff manage the content themselves. The site runs in the same reliable operations environment where we look after the town's other systems, so updates, backups and security are handled in one place.
The homepage owes its dynamism to drone footage of the town, which we also shot in-house. We can provide such dynamic content elements (aerial footage, video heroes) for any project, with our own equipment and team.
